What is meditation ?

MEDITATION TECHNIQUES :

Time: Time is the important factor for meditation. Meditation should be practiced at your best convenient time.It should be in a dark, noise free room and there shouldn't be any disturbances from any external source like a factory, train, traffic, kids crying, music player sound etc..
Posture: Before practicing posture should be maintained . Make sure that you are relaxed , comfortable and steady .Padmasana is a very good posture for practicing meditation. A proper posture can give better result if its done properly .
Empty stomach :Empty stomach is highly recommended for meditation.But still, there shouldn't be any disturbance from hunger and overeating or any digestive problem. So it is highly recomend to do mediation in empty stomach.
Breathing : Breathing is the main point of meditation. Concentrating and observing breathing one can reach the desired level in meditation.Try counting “one” as you take in the first breath, then “two” as you breathe out. Repeat this to the count of 10, then start again at one. You will see the difference! A gentle smile throughout keeps you relaxed, peaceful and enhances your meditation experience. You should practice more and more to learn the exact technique .
Open your eyes slowly and gently : When you’re finished with your two minutes, smile. Be grateful to God that you had this time to yourself, that you made your commitment, that you showed yourself that you too can do it, where you took the time to get to know yourself and make friends with yourself. That’s an amazing two minutes of your life. Open your eyes slowly and gradually and take the time to become aware of yourself and your surroundings. Feel the beauty .
