Laughter is the best medicine

As we all know laughter is the best medicine, but you would not believe someday we spend an entire day without even laughing. This is only because of our busy life, hectic schedule, rapidly developing science and technology and also less time spent with friends, near and dear ones.Have we ever realized why we stopped laughing, and why laughing situation never comes? It's a major question nowadays. Laughter can break the barrier among people and create new connections. Everything from a slight giggle to a side-splitting guffaw can change the atmosphere of a room from sad unfamiliarity to a warm family-like atmosphere. Laughing is the best way of takes toxins out from the body. Since the mind and body are connected, you use an amazing amount of muscles when you laugh. Smiling and laughing can have a positive effect on your well-being. It heals and renews the human body and mind, and nothing works faster or more dependably to bring the mind and body back into balance.


1.Regulates blood pressure : When you laugh, the blood flow increases, circulation improves and your blood pressure rises.  Once you  stop laughing, your blood pressure automatically falls back to its baseline.So we  should  laugh  and  enjoy  the  life  at  our  best .

Laughing reduces tension and stress and lowers anxiety and irritation, which are all major factors that contribute to the blues. In a study published in Geriatrics and Gerontology International, it was found that laughter therapy reduced depression in elderly patients by inducing a feeling of well-being and improving their social interactions.

4.Boost immune system :  Laughter actually strengthen the immune system. This then makes us less likely to get common infections. It also lowers the levels of at least four hormones that are associated with stress, so after a good giggle, you should be far less tense and anxious. Laughing improves the body’s natural defense mechanism by increasing the amount of immunoglobulin’s and T cell’s in the body.

Laughing expands the inner walls of the arteries which increase the ability of blood to flow around the body.
